Alex Caviness is a fourth-generation builder, with project management experience, who specializes in high-end residential and commercial renovations. He meticulously executes projects with a keen eye on mechanical specifications, and architectural designs while considering timelines and budgets.  Through multi-tiered approaches, he reduces inefficiencies in the construction process through thoughtful management solutions.

Alex  founded and is the President & CEO of Senivas, a luxury residential renovation company and CAVco, a building, consulting, and management firm which provides services to clients with commercial projects. His expertise in commercial building includes, procurement, negotiating contracts and coordinating with vendors and subcontractors, creating schedules, and managing payment requisitions to protect clients’ interests. He also creates and supervises risk management plans to ensure the consideration of several scenarios.

Alex, is also is a Certified Project Manager with experience supervising multi-million dollar projects for pharmaceutical companies and urban construction developers in NY and NJ. His expertise is highly recognized in the areas of evaluating site conditions to assess scope of work, necessary resources required, and logistics.   He also oversees the execution of project work for adherence to plans, quality and budget.  He provides regular written updates  and prepares schedules for stakeholders from project initiation to close-out. 

Alex has earned a certificate in project management from Boston University.  He formerly held the designation of PMP from the Project Management Institute, as well a GPRO certificate in the Fundamentals of Building Green and Construction Management from the Green Building Council.  These skills are evident through his vast knowledge of building codes, managing the submission of permits and building applications, OSHA regulations, mechanical, electrical and building systems
